Hattie Ruth Brown

Hattie is a member of the Thomas family. She was born in Columbus, Georgia and has  lived there most of her life (except for a brief period in Louisiana). "Hat" is the 5th child of Henry and Pauline Thomas. With four

accomplished siblings ahead of her Hat was very motivated to do well. She was always disappointed if she didn't get all "A"s in school. Hat's will and determination (not to mention her smarts) got her into a very good college in Louisiana. Faith had it though that Hat would have her one and only child prior to graduation.

Hat has accomplished a lot while raising her daughter Tamika by herself for most years. She was a very well respected manager of a local restaurant until she moved on to sales and marketing with a subsidiary of American Airlines. In this position Hat was able to take advantage of free airline tickets. This opened up a new world for Hat. She has been able to travel to numerous national and international destinations. Hat enjoys traveling because she gets to relax and to learn about other people, destinations, and cultures. Below hat mingles with one of the locals in St. Maarten:

Besides traveling, Hat enjoys singing, reading, and getting together with friends and family.

Hat is also a very spiritual person and worships a higher power. She has done a lot to help others and to help get them through trying times. The strength of her beliefs is enough to give others the power and strength they didn't know they had. When times are bad and you need a friend turn to Hat she will be there for you.

Hat recently purchased her first home. It is a nice property on a big lot. Hat has already made it into a home. we are very proud of Hat. Even though she is younger, her older brothers and sisters look up to her and get strength from her. I can personally say that she has given me strength during low points in my life. When you are in Columbus, Georgia look Hat up. She will put an extra steak on the grill for you!
