I am overjoyed that my youngest niece is graduating from college. They say that it takes a village to raise a child and I very much believe in that. To see Miss DeVonne Bates grow from a tiny toddler to the accomplished young woman she is now has been a blessing. As I look at where my family has come I have more and more respect for the strong foundation we received from our parents; and to see that passed on to our next generation has been very rewarding. As I look at the children whom my brother and sisters have raised it is with great pride that I feel to be a member of this family. DeVonne is my youngest niece and she has accomplished a lot in her short life. The example she has set is an inspiration to all of us. I have no doubt that she will be a positive force and an inspiration to others around the world. Go forth young DeVonne Bates! Be all that you can be. Know no boundaries.
