This is the Rose Island Lighthouse which we stayed at for one night.

	This is the room in the lighthouse we slept in. The window on the left looked at the harbor. We could hear the sounds of the ocean all night.

	The following series of pictures show HET raising the lighthouse flags with Mr. Tim. These flags had to be raised at 8am and lowered at 8pm every day by the folks staying in the lighthouse.
	HET and Mr. Tim pulling up the lobster trap to see if we were going to have lobster that night (we didn't).
This was another building attached to the back of the lighthouse. It just consisted of a bedroom but it had a 180 degree view of the water. This is where I want to stay if I overnight again at the lighthouse.

	The Castle Hill Inn (beautiful building and grounds. If you didn't want to be in the heart of Newport and around all the action this would be a great place to stay. Beautiful views, peaceful and relaxing.)
